A & C Black expands fitness book range |
Following on from his Complete Guide to Stretching, sports scientist Chris Norris is releasing two new titles for fitness enthusiasts. Stretching for Running (ISBN: 978-14081-06945) and Stretching for Racquet Sports (ISBN: 978-14081-06952) both comprise a three-step programme of stretching, from beginner level, through intermediate stretches, to an advanced intensity. The exercises are sport-specific and include advice on self-assessment and warm-ups, whilst also providing a training log in order for athletes to track their progress and development. Each book features full-colour photography throughout to illustrate the stretches as well as information on how to treat injuries that are common to their respective sports.
